Apple has unveiled the finalists for its 2025 App Store Awards, celebrating the apps and games that have made a mark on users worldwide. This year’s selection highlights creativity, innovation, and apps that inspire change.
A total of 45 apps and games made it to the shortlist across 12 categories, ranging from iPhone, iPad, and Mac to Apple Watch, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro. A special Cultural Impact category recognises apps that go beyond entertainment, making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
Among the standout entries, iPhone App of the Year finalists include BandLab, a platform for creating music, LADDER, a fitness app, and Tiimo, which helps users organise daily tasks. iPhone Game of the Year nominees feature Capybara Go!, Pokémon TCG Pocket, and Thronefall.
The Cultural Impact category highlights Be My Eyes, which aids visually impaired users; Venba, a culinary storytelling app; and Yuka, which promotes informed food choices.
Apple praised the finalists for their creativity, technical excellence, and ability to empower users. Winners will be announced in the coming weeks.
