Apple is set to launch its Fitness+ service in India on December 15, marking one of its largest international expansions since the service began in 2020. The subscription platform offers users access to a wide range of guided workouts led by professional trainers, making fitness more accessible and personalized.
Fitness+ includes over 12 types of workouts, including strength training, yoga, high-intensity interval training (HIIT), dance, cycling, kickboxing, Pilates, and guided meditation. Users can choose sessions ranging from five to 45 minutes, making it flexible for both beginners and experienced fitness enthusiasts.
The service works seamlessly across iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. When paired with an Apple Watch or compatible AirPods, Fitness+ can track heart rate, calories burned, and other activity metrics in real-time, helping users monitor their progress and stay motivated.
Apple is offering Fitness+ at ₹149 per month or ₹999 per year, with the option to share the subscription with up to five family members. New Apple device buyers will also receive three months of Fitness+ free, giving them a chance to explore the platform before committing to a subscription.
With this launch, Apple aims to strengthen its ecosystem in India, blending technology and wellness in one service. The guided workouts, combined with real-time tracking and family sharing, make it a comprehensive fitness solution for users looking to stay active and healthy from home or on the go.
This expansion reflects growing interest in digital fitness solutions in India, where users increasingly prefer home workouts, personalized routines, and tech-enabled monitoring. Fitness+ brings a curated, professional fitness experience to Indian users, aligning with global trends in health and wellness.
Apple Fitness+ will now be available to millions of users across the country starting December 15, offering a modern approach to staying fit with convenience, guidance, and motivation all in one place.
