Google has launched a Japan-exclusive version of its Pixel 10a, introducing a new “Isai Blue” color variant as part of its 10-year Pixel anniversary celebrations. The special edition will be available only in Japan, making it a rare regional release for the lineup.
The “Isai Blue” finish is a deep, rich shade designed to differentiate the device from the standard global color options. While the look is new, the smartphone itself remains unchanged internally, retaining the same specifications and features as the regular Pixel 10a.
What sets this edition apart is its focus on creativity and self-expression. Google has partnered with Heralbony, an organization that collaborates with artists with disabilities, to bring unique artwork into the user experience. The phone includes a set of exclusive wallpapers and design elements inspired by these artists.
This artistic approach extends to the interface through Google’s Material You system, which dynamically adjusts colors and themes based on the selected wallpaper. As a result, users can personalize the device in a more visually engaging way compared to the standard version.
The limited-edition model also comes with custom extras. Buyers will receive specially designed stickers, a matching protective case, and retail packaging that reflects the artistic theme of the collaboration. These additions further reinforce the exclusivity of the release.
Google is offering the Pixel 10a “Isai Blue” only in a 256GB storage option, and it will be sold in limited numbers. Pre-orders are already live in Japan, with availability expected to begin later in May.
