December ceremony to showcase mix of indie innovation and blockbuster hits

The nominations for The Game Awards 2025 were announced this week, ramping up excitement ahead of the December 11 ceremony in Los Angeles. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, an indie fantasy RPG from Sandfall Interactive, stole the spotlight with a record-breaking 12 nominations, including top honors like Game of the Year, Best Game Direction, Best Narrative, and Best Art Direction.
