Bengaluru-based Indkal Technologies has unveiled its first smartphone under the Wobble brand, the Wobble One, marking its entry into India’s competitive mid-range segment. Priced from ₹22,000, the device combines premium design, clean software, and reliable performance.
The Wobble One is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, built on a 4 nm process for smoother multitasking and enhanced power efficiency. Running stock Android 15, the device offers a bloat-free, fluid user experience, a key differentiator in a market crowded with feature-heavy skins.
The phone sports a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision support, along with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Its design features a flat aluminium-alloy frame and a glass back, delivering a premium look and feel.
Photography capabilities include a 50 MP primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2 MP macro camera, while a 50 MP front camera handles selfies and video calls. Indkal claims strong battery endurance, supporting up to 47 hours of calls and 24 hours of video playback, although the exact battery capacity is undisclosed.
The smartphone will be available in three colours like mythic white, eclipse black, and odyssey blue, with storage options up to 12 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage. Connectivity includes USB-C, dual-SIM support, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack, still valued by many users.
Indkal has invested ₹225 crore in its smartphone division, covering R&D, manufacturing, marketing, and after-sales service, signalling a long-term commitment to India’s homegrown smartphone ecosystem.
The Wobble One goes on sale December 12 via Amazon and select offline retail outlets.
