Shine with Swadeshi This Diwali, Says PM Modi

From Lord Ram’s teachings to Operation Sindoor, PM Modi inspires citizens to shine with pride and purpose

As India lights up for Diwali 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached out to the nation with a heartfelt letter, urging citizens to embrace the festival’s deeper message of hope, unity, and shared responsibility.

Marking the second Diwali since the consecration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, PM Modi drew inspiration from Lord Shri Ram’s timeless teachings, encouraging courage, righteousness, and the fight against injustice. He highlighted the recent success of Operation Sindoor as an example of the nation standing firm for justice.

He also celebrated the decline of Naxalism and Maoist influence in several districts. For the first time, lamps will shine in areas once overshadowed by conflict, symbolising victory over darkness and violence. He lauded those who chose the path of development over destruction, calling it a milestone in India’s journey of progress.

PM Modi further urged citizens to embrace ‘swadeshi’, supporting indigenous products and local talent, while also respecting India’s diverse languages, which remind us of the rich cultural tapestry of our country. He positioned Diwali not just as a festival of lights but also as a moment for reflection on India’s historic achievements and shared aspirations.

With a powerful message filled with hope, he further calls on every Indian to nurture unity, embrace self-reliance, and honor the nation’s diversity, values that light the way toward a stronger, brighter future for India.
