Goa’s Sadhvi Satish Sail wins Miss India 2026

The young achiever from Goa earns the national crown and will represent India at Miss World

Sadhvi Satish Sail from Goa has been crowned Femina Miss India World 2026, winning one of the country’s most celebrated beauty pageants. The grand finale was held in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, where contestants from across India competed for the prestigious title.

With this victory, Sadhvi will now represent India at the next Miss World pageant, stepping onto the global stage with hopes of bringing home another international crown. She received the title from outgoing winner Nikita Porwal.

The competition also saw Rajnandini Pawar from Maharashtra named first runner-up, while Dr Sree Advaita, representing the Union Territories, was declared second runner-up. Judges praised the finalists for their confidence, personality and stage presence.

Sadhvi’s win is being celebrated not only for her grace and confidence, but also for the journey she represents. She is known as a model, entrepreneur and someone actively interested in social causes, including child welfare and community development. Her balanced personality and thoughtful answers reportedly impressed judges throughout the event.

She is said to have an academic background in economics and international relations, adding depth to her profile beyond the glamour of pageantry. Supporters say her success reflects the growing image of modern beauty contests, where intelligence, awareness and purpose matter as much as appearance.

The event marked a special moment for Odisha as it hosted the national pageant finale. It also featured entertainment performances and several competition rounds designed to test communication skills, awareness and confidence.
