₹3,000 aid tops BJP Bengal manifesto

Amit Shah unveils poll manifesto with focus on women empowerment, jobs and law enforcement

Union Home Minister Amit Shah released the BJP’s manifesto for the upcoming West Bengal Assembly elections, highlighting major promises on welfare, jobs, and governance. The document outlines the party’s plans if it comes to power in the state.

A key promise in the manifesto is financial support of ₹3,000 per month for women. The BJP said the amount would be directly transferred to their bank accounts to help with household expenses and improve financial independence. The party also promised 33% reservation for women in government jobs.

Another major announcement is the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) within six months of forming the government. The BJP said this would ensure equal laws for all citizens, regardless of religion.

The manifesto also focuses on job creation and economic growth. The party promised to generate employment opportunities and encourage industries to invest in West Bengal. It said jobs would be given based on merit and transparency.

On law and order, the BJP assured strict action against corruption and illegal activities. It proposed a “zero tolerance” policy and promised to improve safety and security across the state. The party also spoke about taking strong steps to stop illegal infiltration.

Farmers and other groups were also included in the manifesto, with promises of financial support and development schemes. The BJP said its overall aim is to improve living standards and bring development to all sections of society.

During the launch, Amit Shah criticised the current state government and said people are looking for change. He described the manifesto as a clear plan for better governance, development, and stronger administration in West Bengal.
