A boating holiday turned into a heartbreaking tragedy after at least 15 Indian tourists lost their lives when a tourist boat capsized off the coast of Vietnam. The accident occurred near Phu Quoc Island, a popular tourist destination, where rough weather is believed to have overturned the vessel carrying Indian visitors.
According to Vietnamese authorities, the boat was carrying a group of Indian tourists when it ran into bad weather. Strong winds and rough sea conditions reportedly caused the vessel to lose balance and capsize. Rescue teams, including the Vietnamese Coast Guard and local emergency personnel, rushed to the spot and launched a large-scale search operation.
Several passengers were pulled out alive, while the bodies of 15 victims were later recovered from the sea. Rescue operations continued for hours to ensure no one remained missing. Family members in India have been informed about the tragedy, and state governments are extending support to those who lost their loved ones. The incident has left relatives in deep shock, with many awaiting the return of the victims and survivors.
