Ranveer Singh and filmmaker Farhan Akhtar have reportedly worked towards resolving their differences over Don 3, ending weeks of speculation around the much-awaited film. The issue is believed to have started after Ranveer decided to step away from the project.
According to reports, Ranveer may return the signing amount he received for the film as part of the settlement with the producers. While there is no official confirmation yet, industry sources say both sides are trying to close the matter on friendly terms and move forward professionally.
Don 3, produced by Excel Entertainment, had generated huge excitement when Ranveer was announced as the new face of the popular franchise. The film was expected to take the iconic action series in a fresh direction after Shah Rukh Khan’s successful outings in earlier versions.
However, reports of creative differences and scheduling concerns later surfaced, followed by news that Ranveer would no longer be part of the film. This reportedly led to discussions between the actor and producers regarding contracts, signing fees and pre-production expenses.
Now, fresh reports suggest relations between Ranveer and Farhan have improved, with efforts being made to settle the issue amicably. Neither Ranveer, Farhan Akhtar nor Excel Entertainment has made an official statement on the matter so far.
For fans, the bigger question remains the future of Don 3. The franchise enjoys a strong fan base, and any update around the film quickly becomes headline news. With Ranveer’s reported exit, attention has now shifted to who may take over the lead role and when the film will finally go on floors.
