Karnataka politics is once again drawing attention as Siddaramaiah travelled to Delhi amid growing speculation over possible cabinet changes and leadership discussions within the ruling Congress party.
Although party leaders have described the visit as a routine engagement with the central leadership, political discussions around the trip have intensified. Questions over a possible cabinet reshuffle and internal party decisions have kept the state’s political circles active.
Reports suggest that changes in ministerial portfolios and adjustments within the cabinet are among the issues being discussed. Leadership-related speculation has also continued, leading to increased attention around the Chief Minister’s Delhi meetings.
The timing of the visit has added to the interest, as the party is expected to take several important organisational and political decisions in the coming period. While no official confirmation has been made regarding major changes, ongoing discussions have sparked debate among party leaders and observers.
Former Karnataka Chief Minister M. Veerappa Moily also weighed in on the situation, saying prolonged uncertainty is not healthy for governance and political stability. He stressed that clarity on key issues would help avoid confusion and maintain focus on administration.
Congress leaders, however, have dismissed suggestions of any crisis and maintained that the government remains stable. Still, political observers believe the outcome of Siddaramaiah’s meetings in Delhi could provide a better understanding of the party’s plans going forward.
