Actor and model Mandana Karimi has announced that she is leaving India after spending nearly 16 years in the country, describing the moment as emotional and difficult.
The Iranian-born actor shared the news through social media while interacting with followers during an online question-and-answer session. Responding to a fan asking whether she had left Mumbai permanently, Mandana posted a video from an airport and said goodbye to India, which she called her “second home.”
In her message, she admitted that leaving after so many years was not easy. She said she was preparing herself for a fresh start in a new country and a completely new phase of life.
Mandana moved to India from Iran to pursue a career in modelling and entertainment. Over the years, she became a familiar face in the industry through films, reality television and public appearances. She gained wide recognition after participating in Bigg Boss 9 and later appeared in Bollywood films including Roy and Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3.
Though India became an important part of her life and career, Mandana had earlier spoken openly about personal struggles, emotional exhaustion and feeling disconnected in recent years. In past interviews, she had also mentioned concerns about mental well-being and the challenges of living away from home for a long time.
