Google Pixel upgrade program arrives in India

Get Pixel phones starting at just ₹3,333/month with easy upgrades and perks

Owning a premium smartphone just got easier in India. Google has rolled out the Pixel Upgrade Program, designed to make buying and upgrading Pixel phones simpler, affordable, and rewarding. Available until 30 June 2026, the program lets customers pick their favorite Pixel device and pay in 24 monthly instalments starting at ₹3,333 per month.

The program includes the latest Pixel 10 series models—Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Google has partnered with Bajaj Finance, HDFC Bank, and Cashify to handle payments, buybacks, and upgrades smoothly.

Here’s the highlight: once enrolled within 30 days of purchase, users can upgrade to a newer Pixel after nine instalments and before the fifteenth. Cashify will buy back the old phone and clear the remaining EMI balance, allowing a fresh start with a new device—without any pre-closure charges.

On top of that, customers can get exchange bonuses of up to ₹7,000, depending on their old phone’s value. New Pixel buyers also enjoy free trials of Google services. Pixel 10 Pro users receive Google AI Pro for one year, Fitbit Premium for six months, and YouTube Premium for three months, while Pixel 10 buyers get Google One Premium (2TB), Fitbit Premium, and YouTube Premium trials.

The program reflects Google’s effort to make premium technology accessible, letting users spread costs, enjoy perks, and upgrade annually. It also signals a shift toward subscription-style ownership in India’s smartphone market, where users can stay up to date with the latest devices without paying the full price upfront.
