Gautam Adani marks anniversary with Kedarnath visit

Business leader offers prayers with wife, launches employee connect initiative on Labour Day

Gautam Adani marked a personal milestone by visiting the sacred Kedarnath Temple with his wife Priti Adani, where the couple offered prayers on their 40th wedding anniversary.

The visit also coincided with International Labour Day, making the occasion both personal and professional for the Adani Group chairman. The couple prayed for the country’s continued growth, prosperity and strength.

Adani described his wife as a constant source of support throughout their four-decade journey together, calling her a “calm strength” during challenges and a foundation of success in his life.

Along with the temple visit, he also launched a new employee engagement initiative titled “Apni Baat, Apno Ke Saath”. The programme aims to connect directly with over four lakh employees across the Adani Group.

Through this initiative, Adani said he plans to share his thoughts, experiences and learnings with employees while also listening to their feedback. The idea is to build more open communication across the organisation.

The launch was announced on Labour Day, a day dedicated to workers, which Adani used to highlight the role of employees in nation-building. He said the workforce plays a key role in the group’s growth and in contributing to India’s development.

The initiative is expected to strengthen internal communication within the conglomerate and create a more direct connection between leadership and employees.
