The talks have gained significance amid Washington’s efforts to secure trade agreements with key partners and India’s focus on expanding exports and attracting investment.
The US President said both sides are working constructively and indicated that a trade deal could be finalized in the near future. His comments helped reinforce expectations that the two countries are moving closer to an agreement despite some outstanding issues.
