Television actor Jasmin Bhasin has shared an update on her health after being hospitalised in Dubai with terminal ileitis, saying she is recovering but is “not out of the danger zone” yet.
The actor revealed that she suddenly developed severe stomach pain while in Dubai. What initially seemed like a routine health issue quickly worsened, prompting doctors to admit her to hospital for further tests and treatment. She was later diagnosed with terminal ileitis, an inflammation affecting the end portion of the small intestine.
Sharing her experience, Jasmin said the past few days had been physically and emotionally challenging. She thanked doctors for acting quickly and expressed gratitude to her family, friends and fans for their constant support and prayers during her recovery.
Although her condition has improved, Jasmin said she continues to remain under close medical supervision. She added that recovery is taking time and that doctors have advised her to rest before resuming work or travelling.
The actor’s update reassured fans, many of whom had expressed concern after news of her hospitalisation surfaced. Social media was flooded with messages wishing her a speedy recovery, with fellow actors and well-wishers extending their support.
Terminal ileitis can develop due to infections, inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn’s disease, or other medical conditions. Treatment depends on the underlying cause and may include medication, dietary changes and close monitoring by specialists.
Jasmin said she is staying positive and focusing on getting better one day at a time. She hopes to recover fully and return to her professional commitments soon, while thanking everyone for standing by her during the difficult phase.
