Adobe has expanded its artificial intelligence offerings by introducing AI-powered agents across several Creative Cloud applications, including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator and InDesign.
Powered by Adobe’s Firefly AI platform, the new tools are designed to help creators complete tasks faster through natural language commands. Users can ask the AI assistant for help with editing, design and production workflows instead of manually navigating complex software features.
In Photoshop, the AI agent can suggest edits and help users find the right tools. Premiere Pro users can receive assistance with video editing tasks, while Illustrator and InDesign gain features aimed at simplifying design and publishing workflows.
Adobe says the technology is intended to support, not replace, human creativity. By automating repetitive tasks and offering guidance, the company hopes creators can spend more time focusing on ideas and storytelling.
The move comes as competition in AI-powered creative software intensifies, with major technology firms racing to integrate generative AI into professional tools. Adobe believes AI assistants can make creative software more accessible for beginners while improving productivity for experienced professionals.
The features are being rolled out through beta programmes, marking another step in Adobe’s efforts to embed AI across its creative ecosystem.
