Trump signals possible Iran deal after diplomatic talks

US and Iran continue negotiations amid cautious optimism on both sides

US President Donald Trump has said that a deal with Iran is “very possible” following recent rounds of talks, indicating cautious optimism about ending ongoing tensions between the two countries.

Trump said the discussions held over the past few days were productive and suggested that Iran was showing interest in reaching an agreement. He added that while progress has been made, several important issues still need to be resolved.

The talks are part of wider diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing conflict and finding a political solution. Both sides are reportedly exploring a framework that could lead to a ceasefire and broader peace agreement, though details remain unclear.

Iran, however, has taken a more guarded position. Officials in Tehran have said that while talks are ongoing, the country’s rights and core interests cannot be compromised. They are currently reviewing the proposals put forward during negotiations.

The developments come after a series of high-level discussions aimed at de-escalating tensions in the region. Despite signs of movement, both sides remain far apart on key issues such as security guarantees and sanctions relief.
